In Disgo Zoom Disco, the uprising of Owain Glyndwr - legendary rebel Prince of Wales - against the English king, Henry IV, takes place on the battlefields of Zoom and in the living rooms of people around the land.
In this hour-long interactive show, audiences discover Owain Glyndwr’s destiny through a mix of club-classics, Welsh electro and prog rock. A cast of six performers lead the dance rebellion, through sieges, betrayals and a twmpath like you’ve never experienced before.
The audiences are players in the story, as they become the revolution.
History
In 2020 we took the revolution to zoom... ..Disgo Zoom Disgo was a re-imaging of our live show Disgo Distaw Owain Glyndwr Silent Disco. Commissioned as part of the Greenman Festival: Festival of Streams.
The interactive zoom performance was supported with live audio description.
